Bhubaneswar, September 30, 2025 – Dr. Huzaifa Khorakiwala, Executive Director of Wockhardt Limited, CEO of Wockhardt Foundation, and Founder of the I AM PEACEKEEPER Movement, has been conferred the prestigious Honorary Doctor of Letters (D.Litt. – Honoris Causa) by KIIT Deemed to be University at its 21st Convocation in Bhubaneswar.

This honour acknowledges Dr. Khorakiwala’s outstanding contributions to humanitarian service, peace-building, and healthcare accessibility, both in India and across the globe.

Convocation Highlights

The convocation, held on September 26, 2025, witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Nobel Laureate Prof. Mohan Munasinghe as Chief Guest, KIIT Chancellor Mr. Ashok Kumar Parija, Professor Emeritus and Former Chancellor Prof. N.L. Mitra, and Vice Chancellor Prof. Saranjit Singh.

Alongside celebrating the achievements of graduating students, the event honoured individuals making impactful contributions to society. Dr. Khorakiwala’s recognition stood out as a testament to KIIT’s vision of celebrating leaders who embody values of peace, inclusivity, and social service.
